The California Highway Patrol will conduct a DUI/driver’s license checkpoint tonight, Saturday, July 20. Officers will be stopping drivers at an undisclosed area in the unincorporated area of San Bernardino County sometime between the hours 8 p.m. and 2 a.m. Drivers will be checked for signs of alcohol or drug impairment, as well as for proper licensing and registration. CHP Lieutenant Dan DeLong said the CHP will target an area where there is a high frequency of intoxicated drivers, and the CHP plans to check all vehicles for drivers who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
