Police say a Twentynine Palms man turned in his Marine Corps roommate after he found drugs in the Marine’s room. According to a Sheriff’s report, a resident in the 5300 block of Baileya Avenue in Twentynine Palms called police about 6:45 Monday evening to report he found pills and bags of white powder in the room of David Wyble, 30, a sergeant with 3rd Battalion, 11th Marine Regiment at the Combat Center. The report states police obtained a search warrant, searched the room, and found narcotics. Sheriff’s Sergeant Rick Millard said Wyble was returning from Las Vegas and turned himself in to his command, who turned him over to police. David Wyble was arrested for investigation of possession of dangerous drugs, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $25,000.
