A Twentynine Palms woman was arrested Tuesday after a home visit found drugs and weapons within reach of her two young children. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies made a welfare check on a home in the 5300 block of Baileya Avenue in Twentynine Palms about 4 p.m. Tuesday. Deputies found a messy home, along with prescription narcotics and weapons on the bed with two juvenile children. The mother, Kimberly Willet, 27, admitted to deputies that she was under the influence of a controlled substance. The children were place in the care of Child Protective Services. Kimberly Willet was arrested for investigation of child cruelty booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $100,000.
