Yucca Valley Recreation is hosting drop-in board game sessions. Reporter Kirby Davis gets out her Scrabble pieces…
Remember the good old days playing board games? The Yucca Valley Parks and Rec Department is holding drop-in sessions every second Saturday through March where people of all ages can play board games, from the classics to new games. Note the change in day and time. The first drop-in board game session is Saturday, November 12, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Yucca Valley Community Center. Admission is $2 at the door. Helpers will be available to teach any game, and will supply a free take-home game to each participant. For more information, call 760-369-7211.
