The Yucca Valley Police Department will conduct a DUI/driver’s license checkpoints Sunday, July 14th. Officers will be stopping drivers at an undisclosed location in Yucca Valley between the hours of 6 p.m. and 2 a.m. Drivers will be checked for signs of alcohol or drug impairment, as well as for proper licensing and registrations. The Yucca Valley Police received a grant to conduct DUI checkpoints. The Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Department reminds residents, don’t drink and drive.
