A man suffered minor injuries when he was hit by a car in a crosswalk in Twentynine Palms Saturday. According to a Sheriff’s report, the victim was in the crosswalk with the right of way at Highway 62 and Encelia Avenue just before 11:30 p.m. when he was hit by a dark-colored vehicle, possibly a Ford Focus. The driver is described only as a white male, possibly a Marine. The victim suffered a possible broken leg and was taken to the hospital by his mother.
