Reach Out Morongo Basin will hold a drive thru community food giveaway Saturday (September 18) at the Twentynine Palms Senior Center (6539 Adobe Rd.) from 8-10 a.m. or until supplies are gone. The event is open to Twentynine Palms residents, who will be required to self-certify their residency upon arrival. One box of canned goods, juice, cereal, 3lbs of hamburger and other items will be provided per household. Visitors are asked to line up in their vehicles on Cactus Drive east of Adobe Rd. to allow for optimal traffic flow. For more information call Reach Out at 760-361-1410.
