A Joshua Tree man learned that it’s not a good idea to test fire your re-loaded ammunition on your property. About 4 p.m. Thursday, deputies were called to the 63100 block of Sapphire Street for a call of shots fired. Deputies located the residence where the shooter said he re-loads his own ammunition, and then he test fired a round into the dirt on his five acres. The deputy issued a warning only, advising the man to shoot firearms at a designated firing range or area.
