DONNA MUNOZ PULLS OUT OF SCHOOL BOARD RACE

0

Donna Munoz, who filed papers to run for the short-term seat on the Morongo Unified School District board, announced yesterday (Tuesday, 8/28/18) that she is withdrawing her name for the election of the board seat. Munoz said when she filed to run for the school board, no one else was running for the seat and she knew she could jump in without a lot of training and do the job that needed to be done. However, since Kerri Condley is running for the same position, Munoz has decided not to run. The County Registrar of Voters said it is too late to take Munoz’s name off the ballot, so Munoz said even if she is elected, she will not accept the position. Munoz said she will continue to dedicate her time and energy to the two boards she serves on: Tenet Hospital and the Morongo Basin Ambulance.
