Donna Munoz has announced she is back in the race for Morongo Unified School Board. The other candidate for the short term seat, Karrie Condley, backed out of running for the board. Munoz said District Superintendent Tom Baumgarten personally called her and asked her if she would please agree to be on the school board if another candidate does not file to run. Munoz said she is no longer on the Measure O Board after today due to putting as much energy as possible toward her husband due to an illness.
