The third annual art auction to benefit Reach Out Morongo Basin, has been changed to May 2. The first two auctions were held in December at ArtFx and Furnishings in Old Town Yucca Valley, but Reach Out Director Robin Schlosser said the weather hampered the previous events. Organizers are seeking donations of artwork, such as jewelry, photography, paintings, etchings, metalwork, ceramics, textile art, and even furnishings for the auction. In addition, organizers are seeking sponsors at a variety of levels. Donations may be brought to ArtFx, 55836 29 Palms Highway, Yucca Valley, or at Reach Out’s Twentynine Palms office, 6539 Adobe Road, through April 16.
