An Oceanside man was arrested early Sunday morning, accused of beating up his girlfriend. According to a Sheriff’s report, Jared Watts, 28, was camping with his girlfriend at Black Rock Canyon campground in Yucca Valley, when the woman called to report that he was hitting her. The report states that Watts punched her with his fist four to five times, and then choked her. Jared Watts was arrested for investigation of felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
