We have limited information about a Twentynine Palms man who was arrested Wednesday afternoon. Deputies were called to the 6600 block of Mesquite Drive about 4 p.m. At the location they found Kirk Mayfield, 22. After an investigation, Kirk Mayfield was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse and unlawful possession of ammunition. Kirk Mayfield was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $85,000.
