A call about a domestic dispute led to an arrest for arson Wednesday. About 12:20 a.m. Wednesday morning, deputies got a call from Patricia Fay, 57, in the 66600 block of Daisy Lane in Joshua Tree that her landlord was trying to lock her out and had head-butted her. Deputies found no evidence that Fay had been assaulted. Witnesses said, however, that Fay had started a small vegetation fire near a vehicle. The deputy found an area about 3 feet in diameter that had been burned. Patricia Fay was arrested for investigation of arson, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $100,000.
