A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Thursday morning, accused of fighting with his wife. According to a Sheriff’s report, a woman called about 11:40 a.m. to say that her husband, Alexander Lively, 19, had held her down on the couch, and then dragged her across the living room floor, in their home in the 6400 block of West Court Way in Twentynine Palms. During the investigation, the deputy determined that an argument between Lively and his wife escalated into a physical altercation, where Lively hit the woman in the face with his elbow, and pushed her through a shower door, damaging the door. Alexander Lively was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery, booked at the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $25,000.
