Many dog owners will go to great lengths to emphasize certain breeds as “high-caliber.” One dog in Twentynine Palms, however, emphasized that characteristic literally, bringing its owner a loaded gun magazine on Wednesday. A resident in the 73600 block of Sunnyslope Drive called Sheriff’s Deputies at about 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday to report that his dog had found a loaded 9mm magazine in his back yard and brought it to him. The resident said he had only been living in the home since September. The deputy took possession of the magazine.
