The documentary “PlanEat” inspires you to make food choices that can reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer, protect the environment and make the planet sustainable while celebrating the joys of food. It brings together the ground-breaking stories of three prominent scientists, who have made it their life’s work to discover why the death rate from heart disease and cancer have exploded in recent times, why the ice caps are melting, the oceans dying, and the forests cut down as we produce the food necessary to support our burgeoning populations. The film will be shown at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 8035 Church Street, Yucca Valley, on Tuesday, May 21 at 6PM. As always a free, light vegetarian meal will be served.
