More than seven weeks after the bodies of a mother and daughter were found after a Twentynine Palms house fire, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department has no new information about the case. About 10:20 p.m., June 9, firefighters were called to the fire in the 75600 block of Valley Vista Road in Twentynine Palms. The bodies of Linda Sayer, 67, and Sheila Sayer, 48, were found in two bedrooms inside. An autopsy confirmed that the manner of their deaths was homicide, however, investigators are not releasing any details about how the victims died.
