Sky’s The Limit Discovery Day is back. This Saturday, February 1, “Be Weather Wise,” by Ray Yeager and “Identify and Protect Our Ancient Plants” by Robin Kobaly will be the highlights of this Discovery Day. Sign-in starts at 1:45 p.m. and the program begins promptly at 2:00 p.m. This event is free and takes place at the Sky’s the Limit Observatory Center, just north of the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park in Twentynine Palms. In addition to presentations and a nature walk, participants will be able to look through a solar telescope and orbit the sun with the planets of our solar system via the Orrery starting at 6 p.m. Space is limited so sign up now.
