This month’s Brown Bag Lunch Lecture at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum will explore the intriguing lives of insects. Reporter Jill Carey Michaels has the details…
On Thursday, July 19, museum biologist Stefanie Ritter will present a lecture on the reproductive life of insects at the High-Desert Nature Museum. The study of insects is as diverse and interesting as the critters are themselves. Carnivorous children turn into vegetarian grown-ups. Fathers are beheaded, mothers perfumed; the possibilities are endless.
The lecture starts at noon and admission is $5 or free for museum members. Beverages will be served. The High-Desert Nature Museum is located at 57090 Twentynine Palms Highway in Yucca Valley.
