A 26-year-old dirt bike rider suffered a head injury when he crashed his bike Wednesday morning. The man, whose name was not released, was riding his 2003 Honda dirt bike when he crashed into a dirt berm near Yucca Trail and Hermosa Avenue in Yucca Valley about 10:40 a.m. A bystander stopped to help stop the bleeding, and the rider was alert and answering questions when paramedics arrived. The victim was taken to Hi-Desert Medical Center.
