A Desert Hot Springs woman was arrested Sunday (February 20), after allegedly attacking her boyfriend with a metal flashlight. According to Sherriff’s logs, deputies responded to the 58000 block of Twentynine Palms Highway in Yucca Valley after the boyfriend called to report a domestic disturbance. Arriving deputies conducted an investigation and reported that Haylee Green, 18, had assaulted her boyfriend with a flashlight over an argument between the two caused by Green’s boyfriend allegedly smoking the last of her narcotics. Haylee Green was then arrested for suspicion of spouse abuse (which applies to partners and cohabitants) and assault with a deadly weapon and booked into the West Valley Detention Center with her bail set at $50,000.
