A Desert Hot Springs man was arrested following an incident with a family member. On Wednesday (October 27), just before noon, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department were called to the 7600 block of Hopi Trail in Yucca Valley to settle an incident between Daniel Ramirez, 37, and a relative. Ramirez had left the property at the direction of the deputies and while they were speaking with the unnamed relative, Ramirez returned to the location and began to vandalize the relative’s vehicle, including shattering the back window. Daniel Ramirez was subsequently arrested for suspicion of felony vandalism and booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $25,000.
