Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a crime spree in Johnson Valley. Deputies were called Saturday morning to the 5500 block, 5800 block, and 5900 block of Maloof Lane for three burglaries.
Among the items stolen were a White Jeep Cherokee, a blue four-seater sandrail, a red quad, a blue buggy, an air compressor, and tools and miscellaneous items.
Two of the residents said that the thieves broke into storage boxes on the properties to steal the vehicles; on the third property, burglars broke a window to enter and ransacked the home. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
