Detectives are asking for the public’s help with a homicide investigation in Yucca Valley. Deputies were called to a report of 10-15 shots fired at 3:20 Thursday morning at the intersection of Sage Avenue and Antelope Trail. When they arrived, they found a BMW sedan stopped at the intersection with a 27-year-old man lying outside the car. Paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation and are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in the shooting. The victim has not been identified pending the notification of next of kin.
