Desert Region Fire Safe offers a community conversation on The State of Homeowners’ Insurance this Saturday in Morongo Valley

This Saturday (2/28) at noon, the Desert Region Fire Safe will be offering a community conversation on “The State of Homeowners Insurance” at Fire Station #2 in Morongo Valley.

The hi-desert is a high fire risk area, especially if you live in Morongo Valley or Pioneertown due to the higher density of trees and undergrowth. If you’re wondering if your home is properly insured, concerned by rising insurance premiums, or facing non-renewals, join local industry professionals from All State Insurance and Desert Region Fire Safe for a conversation and Q&A to help you understand the changing landscape, your options, and how to protect your home.

They’ll cover strategies to reduce wildfire risks and lower premiums, the latest trends in homeowners’ insurance for 2026, your rights and responsibilities as a policy holder, what to do if your policy is non-renewed, and understanding the California FAIR plan.

Bring your questions and concerns to Morongo Valley Fire Department East Station 2 at 9492 Sundown Trail off Hwy 62.

It all starts at 12:00 noon this Saturday, February 28. The meeting is free and open to the public.
