Attention all car enthusiasts: The City of Twentynine Palms Parks and Recreation Department will host the annual Desert Oasis Car Show in Luckie Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 28. The registration fee is $30 per vehicle. The first 50 entrants will receive a dash plaque. Trophies will be given in five categories: Automobile, Motorcycle, Rat Rod, Truck and Special Interest.
This year spectators will be able to vote for their favorite vehicle, with one lucky participant receiving the “People’s Choice Award.” Participants will also receive a ticket for a chance to win a prize. There will be food vendors, music, a 50/50 drawing, and fun.
