The Mojave Desert Land Trust is holding a Mini Spring Native Plant Sale from noon on February 22 to noon on February 25. The popularity of these sales reflects the public’s ever-increasing interest in growing plants that are drought tolerant and native to the Mojave Desert. Orders will be accepted from February 22 at noon until February 25 at noon with pick up on March 11 and 12 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Over 20 native, hard-to-find species will be available, including linear leaf goldenbush, beavertail cactus, white sage, and sugarbush.
For this sale, plants will be ordered via email. Customers can check the inventory on MDLT’s website from noon on February 22, download and fill out an order form digitally or by hand, and then email the order form to [email protected]. An email confirmation and invoice will follow.
MDLT has prepared an FAQ on how to purchase plants and a planting guide that can be downloaded. There is also a guide to landscaping with desert plants.
