What goes into making a great landscape photograph? You can find scores of articles that claim you can shoot landscape photography tips like a pro in 10 steps. But it’s not that easy. The Desert Institute is offering the class, “Mastering Landscape Photography” November 6-8. Participants will learn about gear, creative use of exposure and sharpness, composition and mood, and more. In addition, there is an option to camp at Lost Horse campground in Joshua Tree National Park. The cost is $170-$180. To register, go to joshuatree.org.
