Learn the in’s and out’s of the Joshua Tree National Park from the Desert Institute by bringing the whole family to guided activities on tracking, navigation, map-reading and more! Three programs, Poop & Paws: Tracking for Families, Map and Compass for Families, and iNaturalist for Families are geared toward children ages 8-13. Activities held on October 5, 18 and 19th with meeting spots at the Joshua Tree Visitor Center and Oasis Visitor Center are $25 each for members – $35 nonmembers.
