UPDATE: 4 p.m.: Leslie Locke has been located. Due to the CHP issuing a “Silver Alert,” he was located when he went through a toll road. He reached his destination safely. Authorities do not know where he was for the hours he was missing, but he was not a victim of a crime.
The Desert Hot Springs police are asking for the public’s help in locating an 81-year-old man who has not been seen since he left home Thursday. Leslie Locke left his home in Desert Hot Springs about 2:15 p.m. to visit family in Dana Point. He never reached his destination and has been reported missing. Locke left in a beige 1999 Chrysler Sebring convertible, with a California plate of 4ELA883. Locke is an 81-year-old white male, with white hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighs approximately 160 pounds. He was wearing a white polo shirt and black pants.
