The city of Desert Hot Springs is soliciting applications from residents to serve on two commissions: the Public Safety Commission, and the Planning Commission. The Public Safety Commission meets on the second Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. The vacant commission seat expires in January 2018. The Planning Commission meets the second Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. The term expires in January 2018. Commissioners are compensated $50 per meeting.
