The city of Desert Hot Springs is soliciting applications from residents to serve on three commissions: the Public Safety Commission, Community and Cultural Affairs Commission, and the Planning Commission. The Public Safety Commission meets on the second Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. The Community and Cultural Affairs Commission meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m. The Planning Commission meets the second Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. Commissioners are compensated $50 per meeting.
