DESERT HOT SPRINGS MAN HELD FOR WAL-MART GRAND THEFT

A Desert Hot Springs man was arrested Friday, accused of felony theft from Walmart. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the Walmart in Yucca Valley about 7 p.m. about a man, later identified as Jacob Patellis, 40, who had walked out of the store without paying for nearly $1,000 in merchandise. Jacob Patellis was arrested on suspicion of grand theft, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
