A Yucca Valley church is holding an art auction Saturday as a fundraiser to help the homeless. The event kicks off at noon with a $5 barbecue, followed by the auction of paintings, photos, homemade items, gift cards, antiques, and more. The art auction is sponsored by Desert Hills Presbyterian Church, along with the Morongo Basin Join to Help the Homeless organization, and all proceeds will go toward projects for homeless adults, families, and children of the Morongo Basin.
