A San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputy shot in Adelanto Thursday remains in critical but stable condition. Deputy Robert Jahn, 45, was shot as he and his partner walked up to apartments after they heard shots coming from the complex while on traffic stop in Adelanto. Jahn was flown to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, where he underwent surgery. Jahn was able to speak with his surgeon Friday and did not suffer any setbacks that day. Larry Carino and Nicolas Ruiz, both 26, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and are scheduled to be arraigned on the charges today in Superior Court in Victorville.
