DEPUTIES SEEK SUSPECT IN YUCCA VALLEY SHOOTING

Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man who shot at a Yucca Valley man Friday night. According to a Sheriff’s press release, the victim was inside his vehicle parked in his garage in the 6500 block of Prescott Avenue when he was confronted by the suspect armed with a handgun about 8:15 p.m. The suspect ordered the man out of his vehicle, and then fired his gun at the victim. The man fled into his home. The suspect was gone when deputies arrived. The victim suffered a minor injury to his ear which did not require medical attention. It’s not known if the injury was from being struck by a bullet or from another unknown cause. The suspect is described as a black man, late 20s or early 30s, about 6 feet tall, thin build, and wearing all dark clothing.
