Deputies are asking for the public’s help in identifying four suspects involved in a home invasion robbery in Twentynine Palms Thursday, October 17. Just before midnight, deputies were called to the 74000 block of Casita Drive for a residential robbery. Deputies learned that four armed suspects forced their way into the home, assaulted two of the residents, and stole multiple items. One of the residents fired a handgun at the suspects in self-defense, but it’s not known if anyone was struck by the gunfire. The two victims were taken by Morongo Basin Ambulance to Desert Regional Medical Center to be treated for their minor injuries. Detectives believe this was a targeted attack and that the suspects knew the occupants. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
