The Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery in Twentynine Palms Sunday morning. About 2 a.m., a man, dressed in blue jeans, a greenish colored hooded jacket, and carrying a handgun, entered the Circle K convenience store on Highway 62 and Cienega Drive. The suspect demanded money from the clerk and then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk was not harmed and there were no other customers in the store at the time.
