DEPUTIES RAID ILLEGAL MARIJUANA GROW IN LUCERNE VALLEY

At least one person was arrested Thursday, accused of illegally cultivating marijuana. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Division went to a location near Cottonwood Springs and LaFon Roads in Lucerne Valley about 4:30 Thursday where they found an illegal marijuana grow, along with a suspect, identified as David Torres, 30, of Perris. David Torres was arrested on suspicion of illegal marijuana cultivation, booked at the High Desert Detention Center, with his bail set at $225,000.
