DEPUTIES ISSUE WARRANT IN ONGOING SEARCH FOR MISSING MORONGO VALLEY WOMAN

The Sheriff’s department is continuing to follow leads in the ongoing case of Lauren Cho, a New Jersey woman who went missing in Morongo Valley on June 28. According to Sheriff’s reports, deputies issued a search warrant in the 8600 block of Benmar Trail in Yucca Valley (Near Morongo Valley) on Saturday, July 31, at 6 a.m. Deputies searched the area, and other surrounding unincorporated areas where Cho was last seen, for evidence using seven search and rescue canines. Ongoing search efforts continue with future operations planned as further leads are developed in the investigation.
