Deputies are investigating a shooting in Yucca Valley Saturday. According to a Sheriff’s report, a man went to the emergency department at Hi-Desert Medical Center about 8 p.m. Saturday with a gunshot wound to the hand. The victim was uncooperative with deputies, saying only that he went to an area near Hermosa Avenue and Barron Drive where he met an unknown black man who pulled a gun and shot him in the hand. The victim refused to give any details to deputies. Anyone with additional information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
