A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Sunday morning, after he vandalized another man’s car. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 5900 block of Aztec Avenue about 9:30 a.m. for a report that Jacob Savidge, 23, had thrown a football-sized rock at a car’s passenger side door and rear window, causing about $2,000 worth of damage. The car’s owner caught the vandalism on his cell phone’s camera. When deputies arrived, Savidge went into the home and refused to come out. Deputies eventually located Savidge in the attic, hiding under insulation. Jacob Savidge was arrested for investigation of felony vandalism and resisting arrest, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $35,000.
