Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a stash of marijuana plants they found Wednesday. According to a Sheriff’s report, as a deputy was driving near Highway 62 and Shoshone Valley Road in Twentynine Palms about 6 p.m., four people were seen running away on foot from several open trailers. The deputy stopped to check it out and found more than 1,000 marijuana plants in the back of the open trailers. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
