The Science Saturday program at Hi-Desert Nature Museum in Yucca Valley continues tomorrow. Reporter Taylor Thacker says it is all about density…
The Hi-Desert Nature Museum continues the popular education program, Science Saturdays, with an exciting topic in November. This week’s topic is density. Density is defined as mass per unit volume but that can be hard to envision, especially when it includes tough concepts like polarity and solubility. During this Science Saturday, Museum Educator Crystal Mason will conduct multiple experiments that teach children about density using daily household items. It is recommended that children be school age for this program. Science Saturdays take place at the Hi-Desert Nature Museum from 11 to 11:30 a.m. and this week it will be held on Saturday, November 23rd. This event is free and no pre-registration is required. Come out and learn something new this Saturday. For more information call 760-369-7212.
