Join Joshua Tree National Park’s desert naturalist and botanist Darrell Shade on a leisurely walk through the park’s wildflower bloom along the Mojave Desert Land Trust’s nature trail. Everyone is invited Saturday beginning at 9:30 a.m. Learn to name and identify area wildflowers on this free and easy hike, part of the Morongo Basin Democratic Club Nature Education Hikes. Participants will meet in the Friendly Hills Elementary School parking lot, then drive to the south end of Sunny Vista Road.
