The Morongo Basin Democratic Club will hold its monthly meeting Saturday, May 14, in Bruce’s Coyote Kitchen on the Copper Mountain College campus in Joshua Tree. Club members will discuss endorsing candidates for Assembly District 42 and Congressional District 8, as well as the club’s participation in the Yucca Valley Grubstakes Parade on May 28. Breakfast and fellowship begin at 9 a.m. The business meeting begins at 10 a.m. Saturday’s meeting is open to all registered Democrats and invited guests.
