At Saturday morning’s meeting of the Morongo Basin Democratic Club, film maker Dave Miller will present his eye opening short documentary, “Solar Revolution: A Changing Paradigm.” The film offers a different look at the opportunity facing us in the pursuit for renewable energy across our desert. Following the film, a non-technical discussion will lay out the differences between large solar developments and point-of-use rooftop applications. Also on Saturday, turn in your CRV beverage containers to the fundraising committee. Fellowship and a $10 breakfast begin at 9 a.m.; the meeting and presentation begin at 10 a.m. It all happens at Bruce’s Coyote Kitchen on the Copper Mountain College campus in Joshua Tree.
