“Impacting Local Decision Making” is a free, one-hour webinar hosted by the CDC on Thursday, September 17 starting at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom. The webinar is subtitled “Environmental Choices and Local Voices: How to harness the power of local communities to develop winning environmental and land use campaigns.” Instructors will cover topics such as organizing others, crafting comments, using media to influence decision makers, developing winning campaign strategies, creating diverse lobbying teams and successfully structuring meetings with officials.
