What better way to consider death than over coffee and cake? It’s not grief counseling; it’s about making the most of life through conversations that deepen awareness of death. You are invited to attend a Death Cafe this Wednesday, January 15 at Joshua Tree Retreat Center’s Friendship Hall from 6 to 8 p.m. The Retreat Center is at 59700 Twentynine Palms Highway. Tea and cake will be provided; bring your own mug, plate and utensils as this is a no waste event. The Death Cafes are free, but donations are welcome. For more information write [email protected].
